Norovirus Nightmares Contest! – NoroCORE Food Virology

Norovirus Nightmares Contest!

It’s December again and that means NoroCORE has another norovirus-related contest!

The recent series of Norovirus Nightmares from our Collaborative members were a lot of fun, and several people outside of NoroCORE wanted to share their stories so now’s your chance! This time, you could receive a spiffy gift card for your efforts.

A large bunch of mini norovirus plushies

Even though they look cute, the escapades of sick people are like bedtime stories to these little noroviruses. They want to hear your tales of woe!

Prizes:

First place will receive a $50 Amazon gift card!

Second place will receive a $25 Amazon gift card!

Rules:

Follow this link to fill out the Google Form with your story. You can edit your entry after submitting it in Google Forms, but only one submission per person is allowed, so make it count!

We also need a decent-quality photo of you that we can post with your story, which you email to us at norocore-admin@ncsu.edu. Entries without a photo will be considered incomplete and not eligible for prizes.

Stories can be submitted between Monday, December 1st, 2015 and 5pm on Monday, December 21st.

NoroCORE collaborators, staff and students are not eligible to win prizes, but are welcome to share their Norovirus Nightmares!

What happens after I enter?

We will post stories as we receive them, here on the NoroCORE blog and on our Facebook page. Once story submission has closed, we will select a group of finalists based on the number of entries received.

Public voting for these finalists will be done through our Facebook page and the voting will be open on Tuesday Dec. 22nd through noon on December 24th. Tell your friends!

Winners will be announced on December 25th, 2015!

 The fine print:

We are only going to use your submitted entry for the purposes of the contest, and we only collect your email so we can send you a prize if you win.

Please remember the NoroCORE Facebook page is a public place, so perhaps don’t post something you wouldn’t want your grandmother to see :-).
