2014 IAFP Stakeholder Reception, Exhibit & Presentations

NoroCORE attended¬†the 2014 Annual Meeting of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) in Indianapolis, Indiana, August 3-6. We exhibited at booth #545 of the exhibit hall, our members gave numerous poster and oral presentations, and two of our graduate students won first place in IAFP’s Developing Scientists competition! NoroCORE also held a Stakeholders Reception for those of our stakeholders who were in attendance. The #findnorocore contest, a social media-based photo scavenger hunt of NoroCORE team members and stakeholders, was a huge hit. We donated a NoroCORE gift basket, norovirus tie, and norovirus scarf to the silent auction. A huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth and especially to our contest participants, and tie- and scarf-wearers. We hope to see you next year!
