2013 IAFP Exhibit & Presentations

NoroCORE debuted an exhibit booth at the 2013 IAFP meeting in Charlotte, NC, in the tradeshow exhibit hall (which traditionally includes exhibits both from industry and educational/non profit groups). This was NoroCORE’s first display at a professional annual meeting, and the exhibit went very well. We distributed informational and promotion materials, including our official brochure, the first issue of our newsletter (Capsid), information factsheets developed by the Collaborative; and promotional items to raise awareness of NoroCORE. Foam stressballs in the shape of toilets, bearing the NoroCORE logo, were a particular favorite of the crowd. The NoroCORE booth was manned by administrative team members and at least one scientist at all times. Visitors included representatives from academia, industry, and government sectors, with total traffic of about 500 stopping by. Thanks to everyone who helped make our debut a success! We’ll be back in 2014.
